About Tier1Timer
Tier1Timer adjusts and locks Windows timer resolution to 0.5 milliseconds, compared with the 15.6 millisecond Windows default. The utility is designed to reduce input lag and improve frame pacing in games by changing how frequently the system timer updates. Auto Mode applies the appropriate timer resolution for each game, allowing users to configure behavior once and let the tool handle it as games launch. The system timer is restored to the Windows default when the utility exits or crashes, returning the computer to its original timer setting. Tier1Timer is intended for Windows gamers who want to tune timer resolution for game responsiveness. It is a portable, single-executable tool focused on timer behavior and per-game automation.
