About TKey SSH Agent
TKey SSH Agent provides SSH authentication using an Ed25519 private key stored on a Tillitis TKey USB security device. Instead of keeping the private key as a file on the computer, the agent relies on the key residing in the hardware token. An SSH agent makes credentials available to SSH connections without requiring users to enter the private key each time. With the key held on the TKey, the agent provides a hardware-backed route for authenticating to remote systems while keeping the private key on the device. TKey SSH Agent is intended for developers and administrators who use SSH and want authentication backed by a physical security key. It connects the TKey's Ed25519 credential with SSH client workflows.
