About tmuxw
tmuxw is a native Windows terminal multiplexer built on the ConPTY API, without requiring WSL, Cygwin, or MSYS2. It provides panes, tab-like windows, and a client/server model that supports detaching from and reattaching to terminal sessions. The multiplexer includes scrollback and a vi-style copy mode, along with configurable commands and key bindings. These functions help users organize multiple terminal sessions, keep work running after disconnecting, and navigate terminal output with keyboard controls. tmuxw is intended for Windows developers and administrators who want a tmux-style terminal workflow without a Unix compatibility layer. Its native implementation brings session persistence and pane management to Windows terminals.
