About TokenTool
TokenTool helps create image tokens for virtual tabletop roleplaying games and other online gaming applications. A user brings an image into the tool, chooses a frame, then zooms and pans the picture to fit the desired crop. The finished token can be dragged out of the application, with transparent edges and dimensions cropped to the selected framing. This workflow turns an existing illustration or portrait into a game-ready token without requiring the user to manually construct the frame and crop in a separate image editor. TokenTool focuses on producing the token asset; it is not itself the tabletop environment where a game is played. The resulting image can be used with MapTool or another online gaming application. It is listed for Windows.
