About TorrentOxide
TorrentOxide is a self-hosted BitTorrent client and personal video recorder with a web interface. It supports `.torrent` files and magnet links, and organizes downloads through categories and quality profiles. RSS feeds can trigger automatic downloads, while Torznab indexers can provide searchable media sources. A media library and release calendar help users track downloaded or upcoming content. The service runs locally or on a network-attached device and is managed through a browser. Its queue supports adding, pausing, resuming, removing, or deleting torrents and downloaded data. Server-sent events provide live interface updates, and torrents resume after restarts. Basic username-and-password authentication is available. TorrentOxide combines transfer management with media-oriented automation; users remain responsible for ensuring they have rights to the content they download.
