About TriCo
TriCo converts a correctly formatted spreadsheet into a table or collection in a selected database. It supports MySQL and MongoDB, allowing spreadsheet-based information to be transferred into either a relational table or a document collection. The user specifies the destination, making the tool useful when information has been prepared in spreadsheet form but needs to be made available in a database workflow. TriCo’s role is the conversion and transfer step; it does not replace the database or serve as a general spreadsheet editor. The input needs to follow the expected format, and the resulting data depends on the chosen destination and its structure. This can help move prepared records from a spreadsheet into a system that stores or processes them as database data.
