About Tulip Player
Tulip Player is a Windows desktop application for running Tulip applications on workstations, tablets, computers, and phones. It provides a dedicated player experience and can open local files within a Tulip app, with support for Tulip Vision and hardware barcode scanners. The player remembers window size, position, and full-screen state across restarts. It can be registered with multiple Tulip instances, allowing users to switch between environments, and logs and computer diagnostics are easier to access. Administrators authenticate the player once per physical computer, and credentials are persisted locally. Tulip Player is intended for employees using Tulip applications in workplace settings. It provides a focused station interface with hardware access and diagnostics, and is limited to accessing Tulip apps rather than general web browsing.
