About TurnedOnTimesView
TurnedOnTimesView analyzes Windows event logs to show periods when a computer was running. For each period it can display startup and shutdown times, duration, shutdown reason and type, the process involved, and a shutdown code. The utility can read event information from the local machine or from a remote computer when the user has sufficient permission to access its logs. This helps administrators review system uptime and investigate unexpected shutdowns or restarts. TurnedOnTimesView summarizes recorded events rather than monitoring power state live. Its results depend on the event-log data retained on the selected computer. This allows administrators to compare recorded uptime periods across machines they can access.
