About Vault Manager
Vault Manager prepares and manages Vault Node installations. It can download the node image, verify its SHA-256 digest against the published release, and write it to a removable USB drive with read-back verification. Optional Wi-Fi presetting is available, and the application restricts the writer to removable USB drives rather than internal or system disks. The application can also set up a node on a Synology NAS through Container Manager, either automatically using the user’s NAS login or through a guided sequence. After setup, it can claim the node, host applications on it, pair a website, manage storage and devices, and read node health information. Vault Manager combines boot media preparation with node setup and administration. The evidence does not specify supported node hardware beyond USB and the named NAS workflow. Its use depends on compatible storage or NAS configuration and access to the node service.
