About vdesk
vdesk launches programs on new virtual desktops. Virtual desktops are separate workspaces within a computer’s graphical environment, allowing users to group application windows or separate tasks. vdesk’s stated function is to start a program in a new desktop, rather than merely launch it in the currently active workspace. The product description does not specify supported operating systems, command syntax, desktop switching, or window management features. Those capabilities should not be inferred. Its documented role is focused: launching programs in new virtual desktops, which can help users organize applications into distinct work areas. The action is performed when starting the selected program.
