About VidCoder
VidCoder is an open-source Windows application for ripping DVDs and Blu-ray discs and transcoding video. It uses a video encoding engine to convert content into digital files, supporting workflows that move from physical media to compressed or otherwise converted video. The application is intended for users who need to process video from discs or transcode existing media. Ripping and transcoding bring source selection and output conversion into one interface. VidCoder focuses on video processing and encoding tasks on Windows, with an external encoding component handling the underlying video conversion work. This can make disc content available for digital video workflows.
