About ViewCompanion Premium
ViewCompanion Premium is a Windows application for viewing, printing, converting, measuring, and combining technical drawings and documents. It supports formats including PDF and PDF/A, DWF, PLT, CGM, TIFF, CALS, and EDMICS. Files in formats such as PLT, CGM, Gerber, and DWF can be converted to DXF, while PDF files can be converted into editable DXF, Gerber, CGM, or SVG output. The program can merge files of different formats into a multipage PDF, DWF, or TIFF, and split multipage PDF, TIFF, or DWF documents into separate files. PDF splitting can be based on a maximum page count or a maximum output file size. These functions support organizing sets of drawings and documents into outputs suited to a particular review or exchange task. Measurement tools can calculate lengths and areas, with snapping to drawing geometry and calibration for drawings that are not at a one-to-one scale. Measurement results can be exported to XLSX or CSV. ViewCompanion Premium thus brings document conversion and drawing review into one workflow, including measured takeoffs.
