About ViewCompanion Pro
ViewCompanion Pro is a Windows application for viewing, printing, annotating, and converting technical drawings and documents. It supports formats including PDF, DWF, PLT, CGM, TIFF, Calcomp, CALS, JPEG, and PNG. Output formats include PDF, PDF/A, DWF, DXF, CALS, TIFF, PNG, and JPEG2000. It can convert PLT, CGM, and DWF files to DXF and merge files of different formats into a multipage PDF, TIFF, or DWF. Batch conversion is also supported. Viewing controls include zoom and pan by mouse or keyboard, a magnifier, an overview window, compare, rotate, and mirror functions. Users can switch between monochrome, color, and grayscale views. These controls support inspecting drawing details and comparing or adjusting how a document is displayed. The markup tools add comments in forms such as stamps, text, symbols, dimension lines, area measurements, shapes, arrows, and pictures. Users can choose predefined stamps or create their own. This makes the application useful for reviewing and annotating technical documents alongside format conversion. The described product runs in evaluation mode for 30 days.
