About ViewMate
ViewMate is a viewer for Gerber files used in printed-circuit-board manufacturing. It includes design-for-manufacturing checks and live communication with computer-aided manufacturing systems. Gerber files describe layers of a circuit-board design, and a viewer helps users inspect the manufacturing artwork before production. The additional DFM and CAM features connect that inspection with manufacturability review and manufacturing-data workflows. ViewMate is intended for people working with circuit-board designs and production preparation, rather than general-purpose drawing or image viewing.
