About VirtualHere USB Client
VirtualHere USB Client lets a computer use USB devices that are shared by a VirtualHere USB Server elsewhere on the network. The client discovers available servers and displays shared devices in a tree. A user selects a device and chooses to use it; it then appears to the client computer as if it were directly connected by USB. Once attached, the remote USB device can be used with existing drivers and software on the client. This makes the tool useful when a peripheral needs to be accessed from another room or machine without physically moving it. The client runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, allowing supported devices to be accessed from several kinds of systems. The client is the receiving side of a USB-over-network setup. A VirtualHere server must share the device, and the client connects to that server to make the device available locally. This arrangement can extend the practical reach of USB hardware while preserving the familiar experience of using a directly attached device.
