About Vitals
Vitals is a Windows system monitor that presents computer performance information in plain language. It tracks CPU and GPU activity, memory, disks, network use, temperatures, and per-process usage. This lets users look beyond an overall system load and see which component or process may be contributing to a slowdown. The application includes history, alerts, and a compact overlay. History helps users review how metrics have changed, while alerts can call attention to relevant conditions. The overlay keeps monitoring information visible while other applications are in use. Vitals can also provide optional read-only access from a phone on the local network, allowing status to be checked from another device. Vitals runs without an account and does not send telemetry. Its focus is local system monitoring, with a range of hardware and software measurements presented in one interface. This can help users understand whether a slowdown is associated with processor load, graphics activity, memory, storage, network use, temperature, or a particular running process.
