About Volumouse
Volumouse lets users adjust Windows sound volume with the wheel of a mouse. Rules determine when the wheel changes volume, such as while a modifier key is held or when the cursor is over a selected screen area. When the specified condition is not active, the wheel continues to perform its normal scrolling action. This offers a quick volume control method without opening audio settings or leaving the current application. Volumouse is configurable around the user’s chosen trigger conditions and acts on system sound volume. The result depends on the rules set and the sound component selected for control. This is useful when a volume adjustment is needed during another task.
