About Voolime
Voolime adds per-application volume control to the Windows keyboard volume-key workflow. Instead of changing only the global system volume, a user can hold a modifier key and press the volume keys to adjust the application currently in use. This provides a quick way to change one app’s sound level while leaving the overall Windows volume unchanged. The tool is designed to extend the behavior of the native Windows volume keys. The user’s active application determines which app receives the adjustment, so the interaction remains keyboard-based and does not require opening a separate mixer window for each change. This can be useful when one program is too loud or too quiet relative to other audio playing on the computer. Voolime focuses on per-app volume adjustment for Windows. Its workflow uses the modifier key with the existing volume controls to target the app in use, while the standard global volume behavior remains distinct.
