About Vovsoft Noise Detector
Vovsoft Noise Detector uses a computer’s microphone to monitor sound levels and play a warning when noise exceeds a chosen threshold. Users can adjust the threshold and the amount of time the level must remain high before a warning is triggered. This makes the application usable as a desktop noise meter in settings such as classrooms. The warning can be a beep, a spoken “shhh” voice, or a custom WAV file. The microphone can start automatically when the application launches, and the program can remain minimized in the system tray. It is available as an installed or portable edition. Vovsoft Noise Detector is intended for people who want a simple sound-level reminder in a room. The configurable threshold and tolerance period determine when the warning plays, while the different alert sounds let users choose a suitable prompt.
