About VoxDMR
VoxDMR lets users join BrandMeister DMR talkgroups from a Windows or Linux computer. DMR is a digital mobile-radio standard, and talkgroups provide channels for organizing radio conversations. VoxDMR brings this communication workflow to a desktop, allowing users to participate through their computer rather than a dedicated handheld radio alone. The application is described as “DMR from your desktop” and is focused on connecting to talkgroups. The supplied information does not specify required audio hardware, radio network configuration, supported codecs, or how users authenticate. Its documented role is desktop access to BrandMeister DMR talkgroups. The desktop connection provides access to radio conversations over the internet.
