About VPDeskLauncher
VPDeskLauncher is a launcher for VPDesk, a rich desktop client used for project planning. It provides a way to start that client while avoiding the need to install the older Java runtime it previously required. The launcher is designed to use more recent Java versions. A dedicated launcher can simplify access to a desktop business application and manage its runtime requirements. VPDeskLauncher serves that role for VPDesk, providing an entry point for users whose work depends on the planning client. The shift to newer Java versions is intended to improve the software environment used on workstations. VPDeskLauncher is a Windows utility for organizations using VPDesk.
