About WinBox
WinBox is a graphical administration utility for managing RouterOS devices. Its interface presents many functions that are also available through the device’s console, providing a visual way to configure and monitor network equipment. The application is a native Windows program and can also be run on Linux or macOS through a compatibility environment. The evidence notes that some advanced or system-critical settings are not available through WinBox, so command-line administration may be needed for those tasks. Its scope is device administration rather than monitoring unrelated networks or managing generic routers. Some advanced settings remain available only through the console. It is a graphical interface for RouterOS administration.
