About WinMD
WinMD is a lightweight Markdown editor and viewer for Windows. It provides a live HTML preview, a formatting toolbar, find and replace in both the source editor and rendered preview, and undo and redo with keystroke grouping. The live preview helps users check how Markdown will appear when rendered, while editing controls support routine writing and correction. WinMD can export to PDF through WebView2 and associates with .md files, so Markdown documents opened from File Explorer can be handled directly in the application. WinMD is intended for Windows users who want a compact tool for reading and editing Markdown. Its combination of source editing, rendered preview, search, and PDF export supports both drafting and reviewing documents.
