winshotx is a Windows tool for taking screenshots and recording screen activity as GIF or MP4. It can capture a selected region, with a pixel magnifier that helps choose an exact area and inspect a color value, or snap to application windows. The editor can trim recordings by marking start and end frames, crop images, and add arrows, boxes, text, highlights, or a mosaic to obscure details. It exports screenshots and recordings in several common image and video formats, either to disk or the clipboard. A replay buffer can keep recent screen activity so a user can save the preceding 15, 30, or 60 seconds without stopping a recording. This combines capture, annotation, and short replay in one Windows utility.
