About Winstow
Winstow manages symbolic-link farms on Windows, letting users organize configuration files and software packages in a central directory and link them into target locations. This is useful for maintaining dotfiles or shared setup files while keeping the source collection separate from the directories where programs expect those files. It includes directory folding to reduce the number of individual links, pattern-based ignore and defer rules, and options for resolving conflicts with existing files. Configuration can be set in a project file, and a dry-run mode previews changes before they are applied. Its interface is designed to feel familiar to users of a well-known Unix symlink manager while handling Windows links natively.
