About WSLPad
WSLPad is a Windows tray companion for working with Windows Subsystem for Linux. It makes WSL state visible through a dashboard and provides a dual-pane file explorer for Windows and Linux files, an interactive terminal, and a recovery workspace. It also includes environment health diagnostics, developer profiles, and USB device inspection. A read-only MCP server exposes information to compatible tools without allowing them to make system changes. Commands that could alter the system are presented for review or copying and are not run automatically. WSLPad is intended for developers who use WSL and want a central desktop view of its files, devices, environment status, and recovery functions.
