About XFB

XFB is an open-source radio automation suite for broadcasters. It supports scheduled playlists, jingles, and advertising rotation, helping organize what is played and when. The suite includes a live audio-effects engine with equalization and compression, DJ decks with scratchable jog wheels, and a streaming client for common radio streaming servers. Playlist views can display waveforms and support preparing crossfades and volume automation. Accessibility features include screen-reader integration and full keyboard navigation. These functions combine playback scheduling, live control, and stream delivery in one broadcast-oriented application. Its tools are designed for radio production and playout; a station’s actual schedule and output depend on the content and configuration prepared by its operators.
