About µLauncher
µLauncher is a minimal Android home screen designed to reduce visual distractions. The main screen shows the date, time, and wallpaper. Pressing Back or using a configurable swipe gesture opens a searchable list of installed apps, providing access to apps without filling the home screen with icons. Users can assign actions to 35 gestures. Actions include launching an app, opening all or favorite apps, adjusting volume, changing music tracks, locking the screen, toggling the flashlight, or showing notifications and Quick Settings. The launcher supports work profiles and Android’s private space. µLauncher is a fork of an earlier launcher project. Its focus is a sparse home screen paired with gesture-based shortcuts, allowing users to keep a clean display while retaining quick access to common actions and apps.
