About Accessibility Button Launcher
Accessibility Button Launcher assigns one installed app or one of its shortcuts to Android’s accessibility button or accessibility shortcut. When the system trigger is used, the selected app or shortcut opens directly. This can provide quick access to an action such as composing a message without adding a separate floating button or custom overlay. A first-run guide walks users through setup and shows what remains to be configured. The app can explain how to restore the assignment if the accessibility service is disabled after an update, and it provides guidance for devices that may stop accessibility services in the background. If the chosen app or shortcut is no longer available, the app explains what needs attention. The accessibility service is used only to respond to the system button or shortcut. Settings are stored on the device, and optional troubleshooting logs are off by default. The app has no analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or cloud sync.
