About AirParrot
AirParrot is a macOS utility for wirelessly mirroring a computer screen or streaming media files to another display. It gives users a way to present what is on their desktop or play a selected media file on a compatible receiver without using a physical video cable. Screen mirroring is useful for showing an application, presentation, or desktop activity on a larger display. Streaming a media file provides a separate workflow for sending a movie or other file without sharing the entire screen. The app supports both uses from one tool. AirParrot is intended for users who need to send visual content from a Mac to a wireless display or media receiver. Its main capabilities are screen sharing and media streaming; the receiving device must support the corresponding wireless connection.
