About Alligator Bytes
Alligator Bytes is a performance-oriented sound app for recording and layering musical loops, then changing the sound through movement. Users can record short loops, play them back, and let body motion affect the audio, making it suitable for experimental performance or interactive listening while moving through an environment. Up to six files can play simultaneously, and each group can contain up to ten selectable files, including supplied audio or the user’s own. Four loops can also be recorded and played back within the app. The app combines live playback, recording, and movement-responsive sound in a flexible setup for creative use.
