About AntennaPod - Podcast Player
AntennaPod is an Android podcast manager and player for subscribing to, organizing, and listening to audio shows. Users can add feeds through RSS or Atom links, import OPML subscription lists, or browse podcast directories. Episodes can be streamed, downloaded, queued, or protected by a password. Playback includes adjustable speed, chapter support, remembered position, and a configurable sleep timer. Subscriptions and episodes can be organized with favorites, playback history, title and show-note search, and episode sharing. Playback can be controlled from a home-screen widget, system notification, or connected earbud and Bluetooth controls. The app also supports exporting feeds and subscriptions in OPML format and backing them up through a podcast-sync service. Automatic download settings can be tailored by feed, time, interval, Wi-Fi network, mobile-data use, and whether the phone is charging. Storage tools include limits on cached episodes, automatic deletion based on favorites or delay settings, and a choice of storage location. AntennaPod supports light and dark themes and can play both free and paid podcast feeds. It is open source, free to use, and has no ads.
