About AnySoftKeyboard
AnySoftKeyboard is a customizable Android on-screen keyboard with support for multiple languages. Language packages can add keyboard layouts and completion dictionaries, while the main keyboard can suggest words based on typing behavior and contact names. Users can edit a personal dictionary and create abbreviations that expand into longer words or phrases. The keyboard supports multiple input styles, including multi-touch combinations, voice input, and gesture controls. Gestures can switch layouts, shift characters, close the keyboard, or enable experimental gesture typing. An extension keyboard provides access to tools such as clipboard actions, selection controls, voice input, and arrow keys. Compact and phablet modes adjust the layout for different screen sizes. Themes, night mode, and power-saving mode allow users to change the keyboard’s appearance and behavior. AnySoftKeyboard is intended for people who type in more than one language or want to tailor their keyboard layout and shortcuts. It is activated through the Android keyboard settings flow.
