About apic
apic is a command-line and terminal-interface tool for designing, validating, and collaborating on API contracts. Contracts are stored as plain text, so changes can be reviewed and compared through version control. This supports a workflow where API definitions are treated as part of a project’s code and documentation. The tool is intended for developers and teams who need to define API behavior before or alongside implementation. Validation helps check contract files, while CLI and TUI interfaces support both scripting and interactive editing. apic brings API design and collaboration into a Git-friendly text-based workflow. Teams can review contract changes as plain-text diffs.
