About App Manager
App Manager is an Android utility for inspecting and managing installed applications. For each app, it can show activities, services, broadcast receivers, providers, permissions, signatures, shared libraries, app operations, and manifest details. It can create activity shortcuts, launch components, inspect code associated with trackers, and display app, data, and storage usage. The tool can install, uninstall, share, back up, and restore APK files, including split-package formats. Batch operations, profiles, a file manager, code editor, simple terminal, debloater, and log viewer provide additional device-management functions. APK files can be signed with custom signatures, and backups can be encrypted using supported encryption methods. Some controls require elevated access. With root or ADB, users can revoke permissions, change app-operation modes, inspect or stop running processes, clear app data or cache, change network policies, manage battery optimization, and freeze or unfreeze apps. Root-only features include blocking app components, editing shared preferences, backing up app data with rules and extras, and viewing or changing certain system identifiers. Usage access is needed for app-usage and data-usage details. App Manager is intended for technically experienced users who need detailed visibility and control over Android apps. Available operations depend on the access level granted to the device.
