About AppListBackup
AppListBackup creates and stores inventories of installed Android apps. A backup list can include app names, installation dates, version numbers, package names, icons, and other details. Lists can be exported as HTML, Markdown, or CSV; HTML exports include sorting and filtering. Users can limit how many backups are retained. Backups can be triggered manually or through automation tools and intent broadcasts. A home-screen widget and progress notifications provide quick access and status. The app has no account, network access, or root requirement; it needs permission to view installed apps and write to a user-selected folder, while notifications are optional. AppListBackup saves a record of installed apps, not the application packages or their data. Users must preserve the exported files separately if they need them after losing or resetting a device. It is useful as an inventory for reference or planning a device reset, but it does not restore apps by itself.
