About AppStow

AppStow is an Android launcher for organizing and opening apps, websites, web apps, and custom shortcuts. Installed apps can be assigned to multiple user-created categories, and categories can use emoji labels. Entries can be marked as favorites, searched, and arranged in list or grid views with three, four, or five columns. Users can add website and deep-link shortcuts, open HTTPS web apps in an integrated browser view, and upload files or photos or use the camera in compatible web apps. Downloads from supported web apps are also available. Sections and entries can be reordered manually or sorted automatically. Local usage statistics record launches performed through AppStow, and optional suggestions or day/evening profiles can surface different apps at different times. Configuration can be backed up in encrypted files and restored. The interface is available in English and German, supports light and dark themes, and can be customized for appearance, control placement, and startup behavior. AppStow requires Android 13 or newer, has no account, and uses network access only for configured websites and web apps. It is free software under GPL version 3 or later.
