About AstroClock
AstroClock is an Android clock that depicts the sky above a chosen location on a 24-hour dial. The Sun acts as the hour hand, moving around the dial once per day, while the star field and constellations rotate with it. The display also shows the Moon’s phase and visible planets, with a compass or azimuth scale along the horizon. Markers indicate sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset. Users can set their location by entering coordinates or searching for a place name. The clock can be used as a live wallpaper, and a compact home-screen widget provides a smaller view of the same astronomical display. The app is described as having no ads, trackers, or data collection. It does not request location permission because the user enters a location manually. Searching for a place name sends that term to a geocoding service; entering coordinates directly requires no network access. AstroClock combines a visual 24-hour clock with a live sky view and daily event markers.
