About Athena

Athena is an Android device-information viewer that presents technical details about a phone or tablet in a tree-like layout. It organizes information into sections covering hardware, system software, radios, sensors, and other device capabilities. The listed sections include CPU, GPU, camera, audio, display, storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, biometrics, sensors, thermal information, build details, security, and system properties. The tree view provides a structured way to inspect device data instead of presenting every property in one long list. Users can browse areas such as GNSS, media, lights, input, health, services, and wireless capabilities, and can export the collected information as JSON for later review or use in another tool. Athena supports devices running Android Marshmallow or newer and uses a Material 3 interface. It is open-source software. Its role is informational: it displays device characteristics and system information, rather than changing hardware settings or benchmarking performance. The range of categories makes Athena useful for checking what a device reports about its components and software environment, whether troubleshooting compatibility or documenting a device. The evidence does not enumerate every individual property or explain access restrictions for all categories, so the amount of detail available can vary with the hardware and Android build.
