Auxio is an offline music player for audio stored on the device. It organizes a library using detailed music tags, including disc number, multiple artists, release type, original dates, and sorting information. An artist view unifies artist and album-artist entries, while folder management can account for SD cards. Search, playlists, embedded cover art, and saved playback state support everyday library browsing and listening. Playback includes gapless transitions and ReplayGain volume adjustment for supported audio files. The app can use an external equalizer, start playback when headphones are connected, and integrate with Android Auto. Widgets adapt to their available size, and playback uses a modern media framework. Auxio focuses on local playback and music-library handling without online streaming features.
