About Average data usage widget
Average Data Usage Widget compares mobile data already used during a billing or usage period with an even-pace reference. The user can configure the period’s start and duration, such as a week, 28 days, or a year. One bar shows the data already consumed; another indicates how much would have been used by that point if usage were spread evenly through the period. The comparison is designed to show whether current consumption is ahead of or behind a steady pace, helping users with limited data plans judge whether they may need to slow down or can use more. The widget reads device usage statistics and does not retrieve other data. It has no internet permission or advertising and is described as very lightweight. The displayed usage is measured by the device and may differ from a mobile provider’s own accounting. The widget is intended as a comparison aid, not an authoritative billing meter.
