About Backgammon Clock

Backgammon Clock is a two-player match clock and scorekeeper designed to be shared on one phone. Each player has a large clock area; tapping a player’s half ends that turn and starts the opponent’s clock. Users choose the match length from one to 29 points, set a reserve time per point, and configure a per-turn delay in one-second increments. The screen shows remaining total time, delay time, move count, and match score. Clocks can be paused and resumed, and sounds for turn changes or time running out can be switched on or off. At the end of a game, the score can be set from the central score control, and clock values can be adjusted from the score sheet. A double-press reset clears the clock and scores to start another match. The app keeps running in the background and restores the last known times and scores after a crash or forced quit. It keeps the screen awake during play. Five color schemes are available. Backgammon Clock requires no permissions, network access, or account, and is described as ad-free and without analytics.
