About Be nice

Be nice is an Android launcher that combines a home screen with tools for multitasking. It supports app pairs that launch two apps side by side, helping users use split-screen mode on phones, tablets, and foldables where the system supports it. Apps can be organized into folders, and selected items can be hidden in a dedicated folder managed from settings. The Favorites and widgets page can hold up to two widgets, and large screens can display a two-pane layout with additional widgets. A configurable dock provides shortcuts to selected apps or common communication tools. Users can group apps that expose multiple launchers, choose specific activities, assign custom names, and favorite apps or individual activities separately. A swipe gesture can launch a chosen app. Be nice uses a modern Material 3 Expressive interface. Its combination of app pairing, folders, hidden items, widgets, dock shortcuts, and activity selection makes the launcher useful for users who want a customizable home screen and faster split-screen workflows. The exact availability of split-screen actions depends on Android’s support on the device.
