About BeamMeUp

BeamMeUp provides one shared terminal session for a person and an AI coding agent. The agent drives a shell through a command-line connector, while the human sees the same session live and can type into it. Supported environments include PowerShell, cmd, Git Bash, WSL, and SSH sessions. This arrangement keeps the human and agent aligned on the same terminal state: commands entered by either party appear in the shared session. The tool does not require an MCP server to be started in advance; the agent invokes the BeamMeUp executable like another command-line program. This is intended to make collaborative coding and troubleshooting more transparent than separate terminal sessions. BeamMeUp is useful when a person wants to observe and participate in an agent’s shell work. The evidence does not specify permissions, isolation, or how multiple sessions are managed. Its established role is sharing a live terminal between a human and an AI coding agent across the listed shells and remote sessions.
