About BinEd - Hex Editor

BinEd is a hex editor for inspecting and editing files or other binary data. It displays the underlying values as hexadecimal codes alongside a text representation, and can also show codes in binary, octal, or decimal. Unicode, UTF-8, and other character sets are supported, which helps when interpreting the text portions of a file. The editor can search for text or hexadecimal values and highlight matches. Insert and overwrite modes support different kinds of changes, while undo and redo help reverse recent edits. For very large files, a partial-file mode is available, with support stated for files up to exabyte scale. BinEd is intended for users who need to examine or change low-level file contents rather than edit only ordinary prose.
