About BUtil
BUtil creates incremental backups, synchronizes files and imports media on Windows and Linux. Incremental backups copy changed data, and deduplication helps avoid storing repeated content unnecessarily. It supports local folders and storage over WebDAV, S3-compatible services, NFS, Azure Blob, SFTP, FTPS and SMB/CIFS. File synchronization can keep devices aligned through centralized storage with versioning. BUtil can also import audio, photos and video from cards, cameras and recorders, as well as transfer phone media over Wi-Fi through a companion server. A console supports automation and scheduling. The application includes AES-256 encryption and is intended for people who need backup, synchronization and media import across multiple storage types. Its Windows and Linux support allows these workflows on desktop systems and compatible Linux environments.
