About Camera Date Folders
Camera Date Folders organizes photos from the device’s camera folder into subfolders based on the date encoded in each filename. Users can arrange files in up to three levels—year, month, and day—making it easier to find or transfer photos from a particular period. Files can remain in the camera folder structure or be copied or moved to a separate directory. The app can reverse the date-based organization and move files back to the base directory. Users can also append or remove a filename prefix such as a camera-generated label, but prefix changes cannot be reversed. The app reads dates from filenames rather than extracting EXIF metadata from the image.
