About Cat Hunt
Cat Hunt is a touchscreen game designed for cats, with animated creatures that move across the screen for a pet to chase. The targets include mice, a zigzagging insect, a moving string, butterflies, fish, a laser dot, and other small animals. Targets can pause, hide at the screen edge, or appear beneath objects such as a box or flower pot. The set of creatures changes periodically to vary the activity. Colors are chosen with cat vision in mind, and sounds include squeaks, rustling, chirps, and bubbles. A catch triggers a flash, sparks, and a chime. Owners can choose which targets appear and adjust speed, size, sound, flashing, and score. An optional play timer slows the targets before fading the screen when time is up. The phone can be placed on the floor, and the display stays on with system bars hidden. Exiting requires a double press of Back to reduce accidental closure from a paw. Cat Hunt works without internet access, ads, or data collection, and sounds are generated by the app. The interface is available in English and Russian.
