About Cherry Studio

Cherry Studio is a desktop client for working with multiple AI model providers and local models. It brings conversations, assistants, and document tools into one application: users can choose from preconfigured assistants or create their own, and can compare responses from multiple models at once. It can process text, images, office documents, and PDFs, while offering global search, topic organization, translation, code highlighting, and Markdown rendering. The product also includes a Model Context Protocol server for connecting compatible tools and supports WebDAV for file management and backup. Cherry Studio is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Its breadth makes it useful as a general workspace for AI conversations and related material; some listed capabilities in the documentation are roadmap items, so this description includes only features identified as current.
