About Chord Progression Helper
Chord Progression Helper is an Android music composition app for building chord progressions with simple rhythm and melody parts. A song can be assembled from sections, and each section contains measures where users choose chords and how they should sound. Supported chord choices include diatonic chords, dominant sevenths, and parallel chords. Users can define a strumming pattern for each measure, add a simple drum beat, and write a short melody line. The app plays back the progression so users can sing or perform along with the phone. Multiple progressions can be combined into a song, making the app useful for sketching musical ideas and rehearsing them. Chord Progression Helper is intended for song creation and accompaniment rather than full multitrack production. The supplied description says it requires no account and includes no ads or tracking. Its tools focus on harmonic structure, strumming, drums, and a small melodic line.
